In the London Borough of Harrow, there is a professional arts venue called Harrow Arts Centre. The Elliott Hall and a number of other buildings that were once part of the Royal Commercial Travellers School are where Harrow Arts is located in Hatch End, Harrow, North London. It is the only borough venue specifically dedicated to performing arts. The Royal Commercial Travellers School's much larger, but regrettably demolished, building served as the assembly hall for the Elliott Hall, which was constructed in 1904. It is named after B. G. Elliott, who was President of the Committee in charge of funding and building the hall and was once a student at the RCT. After the conclusion of the school in 1967 the site was bought by Harrow Board to house Harrow School of Additional Training and St. Teresa's School. Harrow College of Further Education went out of business in 1987. The arts center opened for business at the location a year later.
