Third Degree Glass Factory’s facilities include a variety of glassblowing tools, including two 300-pound free-standing crucible furnaces, a 20-inch, a 16-inch and three 12-inch brick lined glory holes, as well as multiple front loading and top-loading annealing furnaces. Sand glass factory has nine different kilns to meet the needs of different artists. Come and create your favorite things in your favorite studio! Their kilns include Denver bell kilns, Denver clamshell kilns, Denver top loaders, casting kilns, glass sand kilns, etc. Create your artwork in their fire shop. Fire-breathing artists can rent torches by the hour. The rental includes the use of a kiln and basic tools such as graphite OARS, tungsten picks, mini crusher and tweezers. Glass rod, bead release and mandrel are available for purchase.
