Bill Eberlein, who founded MegaTeeth in 2001, has been a leader in providing museum-quality teeth to the public, and he discovered the site's fossils while diving on the east coast of the United States. He started diving in Erie, Pennsylvania in 1986, at that time, spent most of his diving wreck on lake Erie, where they found all kinds of good things.
