In 1992, the Lieber family bought a 12-acre vineyard in Cutchogue, New York, a rural town on the north fork of long island. They then expanded their land to include 85 acres, custom pressed wineries (called Premium Wine Group) and quaint tasting rooms. In 2012, Lieb Cellars was sold to a group of investors who brought in a new team and moved the tasting room to a larger space in a converted barn on the vineyard property.
