The rudimentary history of Del Sol Furniture dates back to 1997, when entrepreneurs Venancio and Rosa Macias were on the 21st Street and McDowell Road on the east side of Phoenix in a family called Family Mart. The mall rented a small space of 2,000 square feet. Del Sol Furniture's vision is to provide everyone with high-quality furniture, mattresses, electronics and home appliances at low prices and with available credit options. This vision was welcomed by customers and soon began to exceed the space originally rented. The other opened in West Phoenix in 1998. The 9,000-square-foot store on 57th Avenue and Camelback Road in Glendale, Arizona is more than three times the size of the first. A year later, a third branch opened on 29th Avenue and Van Buren Street in the center of Phoenix.
